Conshohocken-based ZeroEyes, developers of an artificial intelligence gun detection video analytics platform, recently announced it more than doubled its footprint in Pennsylvania over the last year.

The company hired dozens of employees, saw a 300 percent growth rate in commercial accounts statewide, a 698 percent increase in cameras on its platform, and a 750 percent increase in enterprise customers. The company also expanded its public safety applications across several law enforcement agencies, municipalities, and real time crime centers.

Growth was driven by numerous public K-12 school districts across the state, several nonpublic schools, a Fortune 50 enterprise customer, and a Philadelphia-area public university.

“ZeroEyes is proud to call Pennsylvania home, and the commitment to protecting those in our own backyard along with communities across the nation is our top priority,” ZeroEyes CEO Mike Lahiff said. “Our fast-paced growth across the state reaffirms the need for cutting-edge solutions that protect citizens against gun-related threats.”

ZeroEyes recently expanded the operations center located at its headquarters, which tripled the company’s size and employee headcount.

The center manages and monitors real time firearm detection alerts and follow-on notification for customers worldwide. If a valid threat is discovered, employees dispatch alerts and actionable intelligence to local law enforcement.
