Triumph Group business to maintain aircraft seats

An unnamed major U.S. mainline operator recently selected Radnor-based Triumph Group’s (TRIUMPH) Product Support business in Hot Springs, Ark., to perform shipset maintenance for Passenger Service Units (PSU) and pilot and flight attendant seats for 67 Boeing and Airbus aircraft.

The contract is worth a projected $8.7 million.

The aircraft, the majority of which are 737NG, will be undergoing heavy maintenance checks through January 2025.

“TRIUMPH Product Support continues to grow its interior MRO (maintenance, repair, and overhaul) services,” Jim Berberet, TRIUMPH Product Support president, said. “This award reflects the trust operators have in us when sourcing turn time-sensitive MRO work for aircraft in for heavy maintenance. We are continuously looking at ways to expand our capabilities portfolio so we can support operators to provide them with solutions for all their MRO needs.”

TRIUMPH Product Support provides MRO services for PSU, pilot and flight attendant seats, crew seats, engine and airframe accessories, wheels and brakes, thrust reverser and airframe structural components, and nacelle.

It provides services for commercial, regional, and military operators.

TRIUMPH designs, engineers, manufactures, repairs, and overhauls aerospace and defense systems and components for the aviation industry including military and commercial aircraft operators and original equipment manufacturers.
