Emko Capital recently combined two of its metal fabrication equipment brands, Steelmax Tools and Scotchman Industries, into SMX Industrial Solutions.

The new holding company will use additional acquisitions and internal technology development to offer a comprehensive and expanding portfolio of steel fabrication tools and solutions to customers.

Emko Capital has offices in the Philadelphia area and in North Carolina.
Steelmax has operations in Bridgeville with corporate offices in Colorado. It is a supplier of fabrication and welding mechanization solutions such as plate and pipe bevellers, trackless and track-mounted welding carriages, and magnetic drilling machines.
Scotchman Industries is based in South Dakota and manufactures cold saws, hydraulic ironworkers, and hydraulic presses.
