A bankruptcy court recently approved Mountville-based AHF Products’ purchase of certain Armstrong Flooring assets.

The purchase gives AHF Products, a hardwood flooring manufacturer, a stronger position in resilient flooring solutions and allows the company to expand its commercial market business.

The deal includes manufacturing facilities in Lancaster and Beech Creek and one in Illinois.

“Our investments in new brands, products, and capabilities, both organically and through acquisitions, has fueled our growth,” Brian Carson, AHF Products president and CEO, said.“Our strategic acquisitions have been a key driver in expanding both our reach and product offering to provide our customers with industry-leading commercial and residential products, including hardwood, resilient and laminate. That is, and will continue to be, our strategy moving forward. Our ongoing commitment is to create products that bring more value to our customers, across categories.”

The deal is expected to close during the third quarter, subject to customary closing conditions.

AHF Products produces hardwood, vinyl plank, and laminate products for residential and commercial customers. After the deal closes, it will have three vinyl manufacturing facilities, seven wood plants in the United States, one engineered hardwood plant in Cambodia, and three U.S. distribution facilities serving customers through a multichannel strategy.
