Ivyland-based Lynn Electronics, a fiber-optic and copper cable assemblies manufacturer, recently purchased Ohio-based Total Cable Solutions, a telecom and data center products manufacturer, for an undisclosed amount.

The purchase will allow Lynn to define its footprint in the telecommunications marketplace by increasing its telecom/data center market share. It will also accelerate product development, strengthen the company’s product portfolio, and increase Lynn’s facilities by 11,500 square feet.

“Total Cable Solutions’ innovative products will prove instrumental in our quest to become the number one cable solution provider in the marketplace,” Mike Boulanger, Lynn Electronics CEO, said. “This acquisition significantly strengthens our telecom product line and greatly enhances our technical expertise to support our customers.”

Total Cable Solutions will become a Lynn Electronics subdivision. It will maintain its name and staff.

“The efficiencies that will be realized from this transaction will allow us to accelerate our already strong development of innovative solutions in the telecom and data center space,” Charles Hoskins, Total Cable Solutions CEO, said.

Lynn Electronics offers cabling solution products and has a Corning Gold Certified production line on both coasts. It has been providing customers with telecommunication products since 1964.

Total Cable Solutions customers include Fortune 500 companies. It manufactures data center and telecom cables, including indoor/outdoor fiber cables and custom builds.
