Olympus Energy, a Canonsburg-based energy company, recently named Tim Dugan as company president and CEO.
Dugan, who has worked for Olympus since January, was hired as senior vice president and chief operating officer.
He holds a degree in chemical engineering with a petroleum option and began his oil and gas career with Cabot Oil and Gas Corp.
Dugan’s prior leadership roles include vice president of the Appalachia South Business Unit at Chesapeake Energy and executive vice president and chief operating officer at CNX Resources Corp.
He replaces M. Chris Doyle, who will serve as the board of director’s lead director.
“It has been a tremendous honor to serve as the CEO of Olympus since 2016, and I am incredibly proud of what our team has accomplished together,” Doyle said. “Tim’s longstanding operational expertise and commitment to excellence within Appalachia will be instrumental to the continued success of Olympus, and I look forward to seeing the company continue to thrive.”
Olympus also promoted Michael Wahl to senior vice president and chief operating officer and Manny Johnson to vice president of operations.
Wahl previously served as vice president of Subsurface & Planning, and Johnson previously was operations manager.
Both men joined the company in 2016.
