S&T Bancorp, Inc., a bank holding company based in Indiana, Pa., recently launched a website with a mobile responsive design for easier navigation.
The website is designed to provide customers with information, tools, and tips on financial needs, such as saving for homeownership, retirement, or college.
The company also launched a digital online sales tool called Merlin, which guides customers through an online financial assessment, then allows them to apply for the product solutions they need. The tool will also help the company learn more about its customers.
“Our number one priority at S&T Bank is giving our customers the tools they need to meet their financial goals,” Dana Wysinger, S&T Bank chief marketing officer, said. “With the pandemic accelerating the shift of consumer behavior from visiting a branch to online, we’ve made strategic investments in our technology and innovation to deliver a best-in-class digital banking experience for our customers.”
Customers who were reliant on in-person retail banking have been forced to transition to digital as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
A total of 52 percent of retail bank customers are classified as branch dependent, according to the J.D. Power 2020 U.S. Retail Banking Satisfaction Study.
S&T Bank operates in Western Pennsylvania, Eastern Pennsylvania, Northeast Ohio, Central Ohio, and Upstate New York.
