Truist Financial names Lindsey Stampone as regional president for Pennsylvania, New Jersey

North Carolina-based Truist Financial Corp., a commercial bank with assets totaling $549 billion, announced that Lindsey Stampone recently was named regional president for Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

“Lindsey’s leadership experience, client-first mindset, and commitment to people make her an exceptional fit for Truist and for the Pennsylvania and New Jersey markets,” Jodie Hughes, Truist head of commercial banking, said. “She embodies our purpose to inspire and build better lives and communities for clients, teammates and the markets we serve.”

Stampone has nearly 20 years of commercial banking leadership experience. She joins Truist from Bank of America’s Global Commercial Bank where she held several senior leadership roles, most recently as New Jersey market executive.

In her new role, Stampone will set regional strategy and accelerate market growth, strengthen client relationships and market presence, and develop high‑performing teams that reflect the company’s purpose‑driven culture.

Stampone succeeds Travis Rhodes who became regional president of Truist’s North Carolina West region.

Truist has expanded its presence in Pennsylvania and New Jersey over the past five years through targeted investments in talent and deeper client relationships and has grown its commercial loan and deposit portfolio.

Truist offers a wide range of products and services through wholesale and consumer businesses.
