Pittsburgh-based PNC Bank recently announced it is relocating its Austin, Texas, headquarters to a new Class A mixed-use building in the central business district. The location will house PNC’s local corporate, commercial and private bank teams later this year.

“This move puts us in the heart of downtown Austin,” Steven González, PNC regional president for Austin, said. “We are at a pivotal point in our journey, driven by ambitious growth and innovation goals. Relocating to a new space represents a natural progression of PNC’s growth and continued investment in the Austin community.”

PNC will relocate to a 58-story tower featuring offices, luxury rental apartments and retail. The company will have signage on the north and west sides of the tower. PNC’s Realty Services will develop two floors and the move includes new a street-level retail branch and office space.

The move is part of an approximately $2 billion national investment to renovate existing locations and open new branches. It also is part of a commitment to develop workspaces that meet the evolving needs of its employees, support talent acquisition and showcase the company’s brand.
