Mitsubishi Electric Power Products, Inc. (MEPPI), based in Warrendale, Pa., announced it will invest in its Service Center Division to meet growing energy demand.
Citing the need for reliable, resilient power infrastructure, the company said it would expand its capacity, strengthen its regional support and enhance its technical capabilities to better serve its North American customers.
“Power and data center infrastructure are the backbone of the modern world,” said Corey Faddish, General Manager of MEPPI’s Service Center Division. “As data centers scale, grids modernize, and power generation buildout grows, our customers rely on us to keep their operations running. MEPPI’s strategic investments and capacity expansions are ensuring we are ready for what’s next.”
MEPPI said it has relocated its California Service Center from Escondido to a larger facility in Vista, CA. The new location will double the company’s operational space and add enhancements designed to improve efficiency, safety and future scalability, the company said. The Service Center Division’s expansion and growth reflect MEPPI’s long-term commitment to supporting the needs of utilities, data centers and industrial facilities, officials said.
“MEPPI continues to invest in our direct service network to ensure our technical expertise is always within reach of our customers,” said Tricia Breeger, MEPPI President and CEO. “As we accelerate our expansion across North America, we remain focused on ‘Engineering the Infrastructure of the Future’ with solutions that are ‘Powered by Purpose.’”
