Indiana, Pa.,-based S&T Bank recently announced plans to open a new full-service branch and to expand its Pittsburgh office space. The new location will strengthen the bank’s Pittsburgh-area presence, increase access to in-person banking services and provide additional space for S&T employees.
S&T Bank partnered with Elmhurst, a Pittsburgh-based real estate and development firm, to renovate the 28,000-square-foot North Shore location into a Class A office property. Once completed, the building will feature technology-enabled conference rooms, a shared tenant lounge, and a wet bar and conference/training room.
“This expansion reflects our continued focus on growth and delivering on our people-forward banking purpose,” Chris McComish, S&T Bank CEO, said. “We are excited to partner with Elmhurst to create a welcoming environment that allows us to more effectively serve our customers and community and provide an elevated workplace for our colleagues.”
The location will replace the bank’s previous location on North Shore Drive which does not have a branch and offers limited office space.
The bank plans to release information regarding employment opportunities, office and branch openings, and local and community engagement initiatives at a later date.
