Cloud-based logistics, fulfillment services provider opens Northampton facility

California-based Kase, a cloud-based logistics and ecommerce fulfillment services provider to consumer product companies, recently opened a fulfillment facility in Northampton.

The 167,085-square-foot facility was built for modern omnichannel operations and will strengthen the company’s ability to serve customers in the Northeast, Midwest, and South Atlantic regions. It offers 36-foot clear heights, 17 truck doors, a drive-in door, and full-service fulfillment and transportation solutions that support secure storage, handling, parcel shipping, and business-to-business distribution

“Northampton is a critical logistics hub for retailers looking to serve the East Coast with consistency,” Peter Davis, Kase president, said. “This new location enables us to reduce transit times and meet demand by positioning inventory closer to our customers and retail partners.”

The facility will support a broad range of industries including apparel, beauty, consumer products, electronics, food and beverage, furniture and home goods, pet products, and sporting and outdoor equipment.

Kase has a nationwide network of strategically located distribution centers and helps customers streamline fulfillment operations and optimize inventory placement. It also provides warehouse management system and app-driven tools,

Wisconsin-based Warehouse Specialists, a logistics company operating more than 13 million-square-feet in 10 states, purchased Kase in 2024. The company offers warehousing, omnichannel fulfillment, chemical logistics, and transportation.
