Mine Vision Systems raises $12.5M in funding

Pittsburgh-based Mine Vision Systems (MVS), a company providing the resources mining industry with technology and software algorithms, recently raised $12.5 million in Series A financing.

The company will use funding to accelerate research and development and product integration, expand the company’s decision-making platform for underground operations, and execute its product strategy.

“This investment exceeded our initial target of $10 million and will enable us to accelerate our product roadmap and deliver the decision platform underground mining has been waiting for,” Michael Smocer, Mine Vision Systems CEO, said. “2025 has been a breakout year. We are proud of the partnerships we have built with many of the world’s largest and most innovative mining companies, and we are beginning to scale what’s working.”

Funding was led by Rockwell Venture Capital and Condire Investors.

We are enthusiastic to lead this round and support the next phase of growth.”

Mine Vision Systems provides underground 3D mapping to improve efficiency, safety, production and automation in mining through data collection, insights and workflow.
