Harrisburg-based PSECU, a full-service credit union serving more than 565,000 members, recently broke ground on a new, 3,600-square-foot, full-service branch in Harrisburg.
The location, at Susquehanna Union Green, was selected because of its proximity to the credit union’s current Cameron Street location, easy access from main corridors, and high visibility at a primary intersection. It also is part of PSECU’s commitment to provide flexible, convenient banking options that complement its digital-first approach.
The branch will offer cash services, account consultations, personalized loan support, and around-the-clock ATM access.
“At PSECU, we’re committed to delivering the future of banking today,” Erin Hennessy, PSECU chief member experience officer, said. “Our Susquehanna Union Green branch is another step in that journey; bringing together the convenience of digital-first banking with the personal, in-branch connections our members value.”
The Susquehanna Union Green location is scheduled to open next summer. Once it opens, the Cameron Street branch will close. The Cameron Street branch will continue to offer services until the transition is complete.
Attendees of the groundbreaking ceremony included Susquehanna Township officials, Dauphin County commissioners, Harrisburg Regional Chamber representatives, Capital Region Economic Development Corporation representatives, local officials and community partners.
PSECU opened its first full-service branch in May in Lemoyne. Credit union members have access to more than 85,000 surcharge-free ATMs and digital banking.
