Ohio company purchases Great Lakes Data Racks & Cabinets

Westerville, Ohio-based Vertiv Holdings Co., a critical digital infrastructure provider, recently completed its purchase of the Edinboro, Pa.-based Great Lakes Data Racks & Cabinets family of companies for approximately $200 million.

The purchase allows Vertiv to expand its rack, cabinet and integration solutions for white space applications.

Vertiv expects Great Lakes’ expertise will offer customers faster deployment through pre-engineered solutions, enhanced operational efficiency with factory integration of Vertiv power and cooling solutions, improved scalability for artificial intelligence and edge computing applications, streamlined infrastructure sourcing, and comprehensive support through Vertiv’s global service network.

Great Lakes Data Racks & Cabinets is a manufacturer of innovative data rack enclosures and integrated infrastructure solutions.
