LBB Specialties opens distribution center in Bristol

Specialty chemical and ingredient distributor LBB Specialties recently celebrated the opening of its new 102,000-square-foot distribution center in Bristol, Pa.

The Bristol center will better position the company for future growth, officials said, and allow it to enter new markets as well as to diversify its product offerings. The state-of-the-art facility will provide the company with temperature control to handle cold, cool and hazardous storage. Additionally, the advanced capabilities and strategic design of the facility will allow the company to combine shipments and manage storage needs more efficiently, the company said.

“The grand opening of this distribution center represents a major milestone in our continued efforts to improve customer experience and operational capabilities,” Nabil Alidina, SVP, Operations at LBB Specialties, said. “By consolidating our storage under one roof, we not only gain greater control over our supply chain but also increase our ability to meet customer demands more quickly and effectively.”

The company said the facility is DEA-certified and will employ advanced technology to ensure safety and compliance standards are met and will include a cutting-edge foam suppression system in the hazardous materials storage area to maintain the highest operational standards.

“This expansion is a direct reflection of our growth and commitment to providing exceptional service to our customers,” Thomas Van Valkenburgh, CEO of LBB Specialties, said. “The new distribution center strengthens our ability to deliver high-quality chemicals and ingredients across various industries, and we look forward to leveraging this facility as a key asset in supporting our customers’ and partners’ future success.”
