GLG renovates Philadelphia office

GLG, an insight network, recently opened its renovated Philadelphia office in the Bourse at Independence Mall.

GLG employs nearly 125 in Philadelphia, and the office will support as many as 300 over the next three years. Employees work in the company’s corporate, growth business units, professional services firms, private equity, public markets, and operational and corporate functions.

“Philadelphia has strengthened our ability to meet increasing demand and improve client service both in the city and across the U.S.,” Andrew Somosi, head of GLG Americas, said. “I’m proud of the GLGers who have led the way in establishing and growing this office, many of whom moved from across the country to build a new GLG community in one of America’s most exciting cities.”

Cindy Floyd, general manager of public markets; Ranger Mack, general manager of the private equity business units; and Nam Nguyen, head of Americas private equity business development, lead the Philadelphia office.

Mayor Jim Kenney and Anne Nadol, Philadelphia commerce director, attended the re-opening ceremony.

GLG has offices in 13 countries. Its U.S. offices are located in Philadelphia, New York, and Austin, Texas.

The Bourse at Independence Mall was built at the end of the 19th century and was used as a stock exchange.
