King of Prussia-based Quench, a leading provider of filtered water solutions, announced Tuesday it has acquired Eastern Pure Water, a dealer of Wellsys-branded point-of-use drinking water systems based in Warwick, R.I.

“We are excited to welcome Eastern Pure to the Quench family,” said Todd Peterson, COO of Quench. “This acquisition is our seventh already in 2021 and demonstrates our ongoing commitment to supporting our dealers throughout their development from start-up to exit.”

The acquisition will add more than 500 customers to Quench’s growing customer base there.

“Quench has been a great partner in growing our business, so they were the logical choice when we began to explore an exit,” said Paul Martin, President of Eastern Pure. “The Quench team has been easy to work with throughout the process.”

Quench offers bottle-free filtered drinking water solutions for more than 60,000 environmentally conscious consumers outside the home through a network of over 250 independent dealers across North America. Quench is a part of Culligan.

“We are delighted for our customers, who will now experience the breadth of Quench’s product line and its exceptional customer focus,” continued Doreen Martin, co-founder of Eastern Pure. “We know our customers are in good hands.”
