Flatbed transportation company Beemac Trucking recently opened two terminals in the greater Houston area.

Beemac, headquartered in Ambridge, Pa., provides asset-based trucking, specialized hauling services, logistics, warehousing, and port services. The company has 30 terminals nationwide and more than 400 trucks in its fleet.

“The new company facility will serve as our headquarters in the south, and Beemac Trucking will continue to build infrastructure to best support our employees and drivers,” Beemac President Loren Dworakowski said. “The additional handling, inspection and storage services now offered by Beemac in Houston, Texas complement the services Beemac currently provides in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and Midland, Texas. The addition of our direct discharge services now offered in Houston, Texas, only further demonstrates Beemac’s commitment to being a true solutions provider and innovator in the transportation and logistics space.”

The new locations bring the number of Houston terminals to three. Collectively, they employ more than 135 drivers and are forecasted to surpass 200 drivers next year.

Beemac also hired Jason Massey to serve as vice president of Southern operations and development.

Massey heads the 15-acre Wallisville Road facility. The location manages 70 drivers and provides storage for pipes and other commodities, and offers inspection services and job site deliveries.
