CryoConcepts, a portable cryosurgery and cryotherapy products manufacturer, plans to relocate from Bethlehem to Forks Township in Northampton County.

The move allows the company to upgrade from a 7,519-square-foot facility to a 23,275-square-foot facility and consolidate operations.

It will invest $1.6 million into the project over the next three years. The project will retain 28 existing, full-time jobs statewide and create at least 61 jobs in Northampton County.

“CryoConcepts is committed to expanding its manufacturing capabilities in the Lehigh Valley,” CryoConcepts CEO Sam Niedbala said. “The Governor’s Action Team helped us navigate to our new facility, along with support for training our expanding workforce. Because of their great support, we’ve been able to quickly ramp up to meet our production needs.”

CryoConcepts manufactures a complete line of cryosurgical products for the licensed healthcare professional, veterinary, and esthetics markets. Its customers are located around the world.

The Department of Community and Economic Development submitted a funding proposal for a $50,000 workforce development grant to train workers, a $183,000 Pennsylvania First grant, and a $400,000 Pennsylvania Industrial Development Authority (PIDA) loan.

The Governor’s Action Team is a group of economic development professionals working with businesses considering locating or expanding in Pennsylvania.
